We have a number of ongoing projects. Additionally, each year we complete a number of smaller projects. These may one time events or they may be repeated.

Our projects for 2010-12:

Soroptimists STOP Trafficking
Community partnerships, coalition affiliations.  Year round distribution and dissemination of Rescue & Restore: A Human Trafficking Awareness Initiative materials is happening both locally and nationally.  Providing assistance for developing a community database of victim services for the Human Trafficking Hotline 1-888-3737-888, statewide law enforcement and CrimeStoppers Tipline are just a few of the ways Soroptimists in Greenville are working with other organizations to improve the lives of women and girls in our local community and throughout the world.  Members can provide interested parties assistance in developing speaker panels for hosting awareness and educational events to fit their demographics - educational, religious, business, corporate, travel, law enforcement and more.

As participating members on the SC Anti-Trafficking Coaltion Soroptimist and local community leaders are actively working together to bring awareness and education to the public on how SC is affected by human and sex trafficking.   Volunteer meetings may be attended by members of the community with a sincere interest in advocating abolition of modern day slavery. Join The SC STOP Human Trafficking Meetup Group today and stay informed on how to make a difference in the life of victims and survivors and front line responders. We need your help. Contact us today to help STOP Trafficking tomorrow!  soroptimist@gmail.com.
