| Tea party for two plus you! |
|
You are cordially invited to join Soroptimist members and guests for a delightfully fun tea party at The Phoenix, Greenville's Inn on Sunday, 27 September 2009. Delicious teatime delicacies will be especially prepared for us by Chef Gerard. Each silken tea bag has been provided compliments of the Brew & Ewe in Greenville.
Learn about tea, be entertained, heed some words of wisdom, learn about Soroptimist, laugh at everything and nothing, shop specialty items from local women-owned business vendors, enjoy the bonds of friendship, diversity and networking, all the while knowing you have helped a woman or a young girl improve her life.
Maybe you have aspirations to win the Grand Prize? Come wearing your best Sunday afternoon dress and Hat. And maybe, just maybe, your crowning glory (with a bit of hat rivalry) may win you that Prize! Think unique, humorous, beautiful, horrendous, store bought or handmade, whatever your creative or non-creative talents decide!
Finally, one cannot have a tea party without sweets! We are pleased to announce many of your favorite local bakeries and cake designers have donated their exquisite creations, and Chef Gerard is designing a very special cake himself.
Have we whetted your appetite yet? Yes! Then please join us. Tickets: $25 per person. Bringing friends? A table for eight is $200.
Your tickets may be purchased from any Soroptimist club member in the Upstate. Please purchase soon. One seating only. All ladies in surrounding communities are welcome! If you do not know a member call President Helen at 864-834-3654, visit www.MyCommunityTickets.com to purchase ticket(s) online by credit or debit card (small fee is incurred), or email us how many tickets you wish to purchase to soroptimist@gmail.com to pay by cash or check. Not able to attend and would like to make a donation? Please send check to Soroptimist Int'l of Greenville, Attn: Fundraising Tea Donation, P.O. Box 183, Travelers Rest, SC 29690.
Cheers!! See you at Sunday Tea.
