Soroptimist means "the best for women."  Soroptimist International is the largest professional women's service club in the world committed to ehancing the lives of women and girls!

As an international volunteer association for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls Soroptimists aim to raise awareness of the issues women and girls face and what can be done to help them.  Through a recently launched Live Your Dream awareness campaign (www.liveyourdreamcampaign.org) begun during Women's History Month on International Women's Day, in March 2007 Soroptimists aspire to inspire women and girls from all walks of life to realize their full potential.
